The 2018-19 school fee schedule was passed by McKay at the meeting. Jory reported that as part of the annual process, schools work with stakeholders to develop a fee schedule for what they think is appropriate. The fee schedule can be viewed online at http://www.sd83.bc.ca.
Jory indicated although this was done in good faith there is a range of fees across the district, and he indicated that he feels there needs to be more structure and standardization around this. “We would like to have a committee in the fall which looks at this and brings some shape and standardization.”
