A small group of Grade 5 girls from South Canoe Elementary are out trying to make a difference!
The group, which named themselves P.A.L.S. (Planning, Animals, and Learning Society) are hosting a tree planting workshop on Friday, April 19 at Blackburn Park from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
At the workshop, which is sponsored by Nico’s Nurseryland and Kal Forestry Research Centre, they will talk about how to plant Douglas Firs, how to take care of them, and other things you can do to help the environment!
This tree planting workshop is a celebration for raising $200 to help the environment! Come support our students!
