Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at the District Education Support Centre (unless otherwise stated).
The agenda will be posted on the Friday prior to each Board Meeting in the corresponding drop-down date below.
Board Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and are open to the public to join in-person or via Microsoft Teams Live Event stream. The Board Meeting recordings will have a link posted in the corresponding drop-down date below.

Delegations
The Board of Education of School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) values input from individuals and groups. During meetings, the Board officially welcomes visitors and delegations, and meetings are planned to make people feel as comfortable as possible. To ensure that the business of governing education efficiently takes place and that all viewpoints are heard, board meetings follow structured rules of order.
If you wish to present a delegation to the Board, please complete the Delegation Request Form and submit it to vdeacon@sd83.bc.ca at the Secretary-Treasurer’s office eight days before the regular Board meeting. Decisions regarding delegations go through the Board Chairperson/Vice-Chairperson at agenda setting. Delegations are asked to limit their presentations to 10 minutes.
