The Board of Education is responsible for the effective governance of School District No. 83, ensuring accountability to the Ministry of Education and Child Care, the public, and our education partners. The Board is deeply committed to governance that is respectful, transparent, and fiscally responsible.
SD83’s Strategic Plan was developed through extensive consultation with Rightsholders, parents, staff, stakeholders, and students. The commitment, genuine interest, and enthusiasm shown throughout this process reflect our dedication to the education and well-being of all students. This Strategic Plan will guide the District’s priorities, goals, initiatives, and financial stewardship over the next five years (2023-2028).
