The original scholarship was established by Bill Ladner, who was a principal at Salmon Arm Senior Secondary for many years, to continue to help local students.
Criteria:
For an SD83 student planning to enter an education program. The student must have a strong academic standing and exhibit diligence and an interest in athletics. The student must be enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution.
2023 Award – four scholarships for $750 (one at each SD83 high school)
