The Board of Education of School District No. 83 (North Okanagan-Shuswap) will be holding two meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the District Education Support Centre (DESC).
The first meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. and will be a Committee of the Whole meeting. Under discussion will be the Board Charter, Board Correspondence and Board Self-Evaluation.
A Committee of the Whole meeting is open for staff and public to observe. These types of meetings provide the Board of Education an opportunity to discuss an issue before bringing recommendations/motions to a regular Board of Education meeting.
At 7 p.m. the Board will move into a special regular meeting and will hold Board elections for the upcoming year.
The Board’s next regular business meeting is on Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. at Carlin Elementary Middle School.
