Kindergarten, Early French Immersion & the Outdoor Learning Program registration is Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
All registrations on this date are considered equal so no need to line up! After Oct. 9th the registrations will be dated and time stamped and requests will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis. Cross boundary forms will be signed, dated and time stamped at the requested school.
Please register at your neighbourhood school from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
In order to meet Ministry of Education requirements, the school district must have documentation including a birth certificate or passport and proof of residence (i.e. current utility bill, rental or purchase agreement). Your child’s immunization record, BC Services Card, medical and emergency contact information would be greatly appreciated.
Early (Kindergarten and Grade 1) French Immersion at Bastion Elementary. Please register at Bastion Elementary. A cross boundary form is not required.
For all those interested in learning more about Early French Immersion there is an information session at Bastion, October 2 at 7 p.m.
Outdoor Learning Program at South Canoe – Kindergarten registration opens, as well as a waitlist started for Grades 1-7 for any spots that may open up for September 2019. Please register at South Canoe. No cross boundary form is required.
An information session to learn more about the Outdoor Learning Program will be held October 3 at 7 p.m. at South Canoe Elementary.
Cross Boundary Requests
All parents who wish to cross boundary their children for the upcoming school year need to start the process at their home catchment school, get the cross boundary form and take it to the requested school. Cross boundary forms are available at all schools. This only applies to NEW requests.
